MKE Week 6 (Year 2) – It’s Electric; Boogie Woogie Woogie

Don’t put your finger in that socket? What? How many times did you hear that while growing up?

Haanel says in 6:3 – “Electricity is a form of motion and its effect will depend upon the mechanism to which it is attached.” Upon this mechanism will depend whether we shall have heat, light, power, music or any of the other marvelous demonstration of power to which this vital energy has been harnessed.

Haanel 6:4 – What effect can be produced by thought? The reply is that thought is mind in motion (just as wind is air in motion), and its effect will depend entirely on the ‘mechanism to which it is attached.”

Haanel 6:5 – Here, then, is the secret of all mental power, it depends entirely on the mechanism which we attached.

So, what does this mean? The universe is the electric, and we are the receptacle? We can have heat, light, power, music……if we tapped into it? How do we do this? How are we to be as one? How do we see it? How do we breathe it? How do we flow with it?  How do we think it? – Simply put, ‘We use OUR brains.’ We must be in connection with out desire, our purpose. Our current (electric) must be strong enough to ‘wire,’ ‘spark,’ ‘ignite,’ our power! We must be in connection with our faith, dharma (DMP) within the universe for it all to flow in motion. Remember back in Haanel 1:3 – The attitude of mind necessarily depends upon what we think. Therefore, the secret of all power, all achievement  and all possession depends upon our method of thinking. Haanel 1:4 – This is true because we must “be” before we can “do,” and we “do” only to the extent which we “are,” and what we “are” depends upon what we “think.”

Haanel 6:21 – It is, however, through attention that you will finally be able to overcome obstacles of any kind that appear in your path onward and upward, and the only way to acquire this wonderful power is to practice — practice makes perfect, in this as in anything else.

Awwwwwwwwwww – look at that, one of the 7 Laws of the Mind! The Law of Practice – practice makes perfect. The 5Ps – Perfect Practice Prevents Poor Performance. Our bewilderment of magnificence in others, upon further inspection, finds…as Wooden shares ‘you’ll find most of it is practice, the rest of it is work.’ With practice of the correct things, we improve ~ on the other 6 Laws of the Mind.

So, YOU create your own electric. How much electric DO YOU WANT? Find you answers in the stillness (sit). Connect. Feel the energy. Listen to universe talk to you. It’s all around you. You just have to tap into it.
